Description

The iconic blazer jacket reinterpreted by Patine Studio and inspired by your busy lives: 2 years of development for our first jacket that defines the Patine silhouette. An oversized but not caricatural blazer. Single-breasted but with great construction complexity for a piece that you'll wear with jeans, black pants, and over everything.

Limited Edition: This winter, we've selected a fantastic houndstooth wool flannel from luxury brands' dormant stock thanks to our partner Nona Source.

24/7
A confident silhouette with lightly padded shoulders, just enough to structure the shoulder line. The armhole is large enough to wear over a shirt and sweater, but it also works with a close-fitting dress or a simple t-shirt. The length is subtly balanced: to cover the backside without making you "look stumpy," as our kind mothers used to say. Single-breasted, we love the gesture of unbuttoning a single button, taking it off, putting it back on...Whether you're dedicated to sports or not, you're now equipped for the gymnastics of clothes you wear regularly.

Expertise
We are fortunate to work with a workshop in Portugal that has exceptional expertise in structured garment construction. The jacket is lined, and the side pockets and chest pocket are piped. The collar is lined with felt. The back vent provides ease of movement. Ah...our partner just won the 2026 award for the most responsible workshop in Portugal: a vegetable garden canteen, solar energy, automation of the most arduous tasks, continuous employee training...They are also the ones who make your coats. Very Patine indeed.

Sustainability and materials

LUXURY HOUSE DEADSTOCK FABRIC

This jacket gives a second life to Italian wool flannel, deadstock from a major luxury house. It is certified by Nona Source, our partner for exceptional deadstock fabrics.
• Italian wool flannel: 91% Virgin Wool, 7% Polyamide, 2% Elastane
• Deadstock lining from our workshop: 95% Polyester 5% Spandex. Here too, we chose to re-purpose unused material (and incidentally, use a very high-quality lining).

🌍 Measured positive impact: using one meter of Nona Source deadstock fabric emits an average of 0.3kg of CO₂, compared to 9.3kg for newly produced fabrics. (Source: La Belle Empreinte study for Nona Source, 2026).

TRACEABILITY

1. Wool flannel woven in Italy for a major luxury house then unused: we selected and acquired it through our partner Nona Source, which re-purposes luxury deadstock.

2. Manufacturing (Portugal):
• Produced in our partner workshop certified SMETA, Higg Index, GOTS, GRS, OCS 100, RWS.
• Recognized expertise, also a partner of major luxury houses, they also manufacture our trench coats and coats.

3. Recyclability:
• Recyclable material at end of life

Sizing Advice

NOTRE CONSEIL

FAQ - all about The Jacket

When is it shipped? Is it available at Patine Studio in Le Marais?

The jacket is in stock. Only one production run for the season, while flannel supplies last.
This means you will receive it 3 to 4 days after placing your order.
A few jackets are also available at our store at 15, rue Debelleyme Paris 3e starting at 11 am on Saturday.

What are the measurements? How does the jacket size?

A size chart is available in our size guide, accessible as soon as the jacket goes online.
It is available from XS to XXL, and we recommend choosing your usual size.
It is worn in size S in the photos and the model is 1.71m tall.

How many versions do you release?

Only one for the season, a houndstooth flannel version with gray, black, and a thin blue stripe. It can be worn with all shades of denim :)
It's a subtle tribute to "office" jackets from the 80s and 90s.

If the size doesn't fit, can I exchange it? Do you accept returns?

What is the price of the jacket and how was it determined?

The jacket is offered at €350.

Preamble:
There are as many prices, ways of setting prices, and pricing structures as there are brands.
The notion of quality differs among brands. At Patine, it is defined by a triptych of aesthetics, durability, and commitment.
A price is not necessarily indicative of the quality, durability, and environmental impact of a garment.
We do not claim that our price is low. However, we do claim a very low cost per wear and ethical remuneration for our excellent partners. We are constantly building an innovative brand model that offers an unprecedented quality-to-price ratio.

Here's how we set our prices:

  • As with Patine's entire catalog, the jacket's price is determined based on costs.
  • First, the cost of the material. We chose dormant stock flannel from a luxury house thanks to our partner Nona Source.
  • Then, the cost of manufacturing. The jacket is made in Portugal in a state-of-the-art workshop that collaborates with the biggest names in luxury...and now Patine. Our construction and finishing choices are costly, but we deemed them essential for the silhouette's appeal and the jacket's durability. The jacket is lined, all pockets are piped, and the collar is felt-lined. The manufacturing price was negotiated, but respects our commitment to ethical remuneration.
  • Other costs: the price also includes project development costs (the time and expertise of the brilliant pattern maker who collaborates with Patine, prototypes, technical tests...), transport, and a margin that covers our operating costs.
  • Regarding the weight of each of these costs in the price: our investments in advertising, muses, and influencers are limited. We make few markdowns and we refrain from inflating our prices to include a promotional budget. To conclude:
  • Finally, we apply 20% VAT.
  • Important: the Patine brand is primarily distributed directly on the website and in our store. If we were to switch to classic distribution in multi-brand stores, we would have to increase the price to include the distributors' margin. As an indication, we estimate that the jacket's price would increase to approximately €650, even while maintaining margin coefficients at the lower end of the market average.
